Discover How Space Shapes Experience
TRI Art & Culture is named after our heritage building’s distinct triangular form — an architectural shape that inspires the triangulation of ideas and invites visitors to explore, tri, and discover the arts through exhibitions and events. In this way, the shape of our space is responsible for shaping our curatorial endeavours, which bring together artists, artisans, institutions, writers, performers, and thinkers in unexpected ways to forge new creative connections.
Through the work of Open to Sky Architects, TRI has been thoughtfully transformed from a private residence into a home for art and culture – a third space for the arts that preserves heritage even as it makes way for contemporary display. Looking ahead, TRI intends to expand and evolve in ways that welcome more audiences, foster greater inclusivity, and create new opportunities for engagement with the arts.
This spatial vision complements TRI’s multidisciplinary programming, wherein visitors can experience visual, performing, culinary, and literary arts alongside social and research practices, through exhibitions and events designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and connection.
