A durational installation featuring poetic text on the TRI façade.
In her practice, Ayesha Singh investigates the power structures and social hierarchies embedded within architectural forms. Through her sculptures, drawings, and text-based interventions, she questions how construction and erasure shape our collective memory, revealing the ideologies often hidden within the built environment.
Projection as Performance extends this inquiry into the public realm. Unfolding across the façade and garden of TRI, the work transforms the building’s surface into a living screen — where poetic text and shifting light engage the architecture itself as performer and participant.
Presented at both the inauguration and culmination of SPLINTER PUNCTURE SLIVER SPALL, this durational installation reimagines the façade as a site of encounter — a space where language, structure, and perception converge to make visible what architecture so often conceals.
